Shift designs was established in 2007 with the intent of creating well-designed long
lasting brands. Some notable clients include Gateway Casinos, TallGrass Distribution
and Buffalo Point Resort.
Leanne Gillespie – Art Director/Designer/Founder
Born and raised in the Vancouver area, Leanne has
been designing since 1997 creating one-of-a kind
design for a variety of clients. With a background
in both Commerce and Fine Arts, she understands
how good design can impact your business.
Since graduating in Graphics & Visual Design program at Kwantlen University College,
she has worked with the largest in house advertising department in Canada at Future
Shop in both print and e-commerce. This is where she honed her strategy and
production skills and apply them at notable agencies such as Hodes Group and
Momentum Media Marketing. At the latter she became Art Director and work on
re-branding America’s largest Radio Network, which has received critical accolades.
Leanne’s specialty in her design toolbox is branding you or your business. She views
creating a strong brand as more then making a pretty icon but defining a client with an
accurate visual representation. It may not sound snazzy, but a great brand design can
last a company’s lifetime. Creating something that will hold up to the test of time is a
unique challenge, and which Leanne and her studio are up for.
Always involved in community causes, Leanne has been involved in fundraising efforts
for highly successful relay team for 8 years, served on the board of
Vancouver AM and most recently chaired an event for the Answer for Cancer Tour.
